As of next Saturday, Mayancraft will start a mini season for everyone to enjoy as we await the summer and season 3. This world will have origins enabled, this means each player gets a set of powers. Make sure to message SirArcher your power choice, because it is first come first serve, one person per powerset. SirArcher has sent a list of the options to each person.

Even over a month away from the new season, everyone has spots picked out! The new map is larger than ever, spanning 4000x2000 meters. The new shopping district will be on a mushroom island like the previous, and the land price will stay at 3 diamonds for 10x10, or 100 square meters.
To highlight some people's plans for the new season, here are some descriptions of what players are going to do this season:

Living in cryptic cove, plans to build a cryptic cove resort full of secrets for others to find. Also going to build skyscrapers emerging out of a hole in the ground.

-SirArcher:
Plans to build a giant super weapon in the ocean, spanning hundreds of blocks in diameter. He plans to use it to blow up the moon.

-Happy 0kapiz
Going to build a post apocolyptic wasteland, any who enter shall be slain.
Week 31 (SEASON ANNOUNCEMENT)

A NEW SEASON WILL BE STARTING JUNE 13TH.

A week or two before the new season the world will be replaced with the ice boat racing game "Mine Kart".

Do not take this as a warning that the season is over just yet. There is still a month and a half until that happens. So wrap up projects and get hyped for Season 3!
Week 30

The great Axologgle has been constructed, this behemoth is now in the top 5 largest structures on Mayancraft (Feature article coming soon). This structure was constructed by SirArcher and Happy 0kapiz while 7 hours or resource collecting lead up to it. SirArcher, Happy, and Levi (who was paid to help) split the load. The axologgle is now hallowed ground so combat is forbidden within 50 blocks in each direction of a log block. This hallowed area is also in effect down to bedrock and up to an infinite height.
When not being paid to chop logs, Levi has been establishing a base. He has found a spot south of SirArcher's base to build his.
ParticlePeng has located a spot to live now, but very far from the main center of the world. 2000 blocks out in fact.
Week 27, 28, and 29

Nothing happened in week 27 or 28, but 29 was very eventful. Two new players joined over the course of the week, ParticlePeng and Levi1216CB. Levi has been making a lot of progress, buying a shop in Venicia, building a piglin farm, and a base in the Ilragorn region. Making SirArcher no longer the sole resident.
SirArcher has been building castles again, but not his own. He has built up Icewings base for free into a large and elaborate outpost. He also built up the spawn to be a large Mayan temple for branding purposes.
Week 25 and 26

These two weeks on the realm, SirArcher and Happy Okapiz have both gotten a build 2 blocks off, and had to fix it.
First up is Happy Okapiz, who has been working on a confidential project and gotten a secret addition to it that took two hours off by two blocks. While that is discouraging, we have all been in a similar situation and can relate to the pain.
SirArcher also got a build off by two blocks but was able to fix it in under 30 minutes. He has been adding to his citadel and has actually completed it. He has also reached his season-long goal of reaching two stacks of diamond blocks. Feel free to stop by the citadel to check it out at some point.
Week 24

This week on the Mayancraft realm, Boop Boi tried something new, Archer upgraded his citadel, and Happy got a lot of dogs.
This week SirArcher upgraded his castle by detailing the front with new spines and some basalt supports. Even adding a diamond chandelier to reference Grian's Hermitcraft mansion (Without copying the exact chandelier of course).
Happy Okapiz has been breeding dogs and has created an army that could destroy any sheep in his path. Or even a herd of sheep if it comes to it.
Boop Boi fell through the floor during SirArcher's renovations and ended up bungee jumping on a lead. Until SirArcher padded the floor with slime and let him drop. He came out of it safe and soft as ever, once he washed the slime out.
Week 23
Mon Feb 22 2021
SirArcher was possessed for a demon for the last month, but thats not important enough for a news article so read about that here.
Earlier in the week SIrArcher gave Ur_Mrclean and CpnDoggo some diamond armor, which Ur_Mrclean promptly lost.
Meanwhile Happy Okapiz and SirArcher tested what would happen if SirArcher released his 10 withers. Packatown held up quite well while other bases were annihilated by the spawn explosions.
Week 21-22

Week 21 was mostly uneventful, but week 22 has some interesting news, two towns are under construction. The first is Venicia, a canal based town along the coast of the shopping district created by SirArcher. The buildings interiors are going to be sold for a loss to people who want to make shops. This is in the attempt to bring new shops into the shopping district and to have a lot of them with close proximity. Talk to SirArcher about shop availability because some buildings are ready to sell and more are on the way.
The second town under construction is Disco's base, he has been expanding his house into many houses, while right now it is just outlines, the buildings will begin popping up over the course of the season.
A new member has also joined the realm, CpnDoggo or Steve depending on what the gamertag says today is now on the realm. She is currently hanging out with Ur_Mrclean in the Necressa region.

Week 20

SirArcher has continued building the inescapable prison known as the Tartarus Maw. Except, it is becoming more visitor friendly with paths along the edge of the central maw, the medium size mouth in between the greater and lesser maw.
2 players have aquired new pets, Happy Okapiz has tamed a dog while ItsDiscoCreeper has adopted RunkW1nston's old chicken after he worldlessly left the realm.
Ur_mrclean has been redoing his cave to feel like home.
Week 17-19

In the past weeks a Mayancraft YouTube series has begun production. This series is titled Mayancraft Thin Ice and takes place in the season 2 world. Filming has begun as of Saturday Jan 23.
Meanwhile, the war has officially begun with Packatown ahead by 1 battle win. There has only been one battle so far that was a 1v1 between Disco and SirArcher.

Due to the upcoming battles, Happy and SirArcher have played a lot of skywars, so hopefully there will be some cliffs to throw enemies off or they are in trouble.
Week 13-16

The last 4 weeks this new has not been released, for two reasons, not much has happened, and I got lazy.

This time SirArcher built an entire castle and custom mountains in 2 days. He also established new shop areas, built a creeper farm and collected and placed obsidian for the Anarchy district (Covered later).
Happy Okapiz changed gaming platform due to issues with minecraft, and also changed skin. His new skin is a knight with gold and silver armor with purple gems. He also aided the construction of the Anarchy District.
The SoR base is still presumably under construction, with the location despite
Packatown's best efforts.
Finally the Anarchy district, a zone with no laws, killing, stealing, and griefing are ok. This area has a portal leading to the line that you can access behind the shop portal. There is also an area between the portal and the obsidian border that players can leave items. The area is 1000x1000 blocks.
Weeks 11 and 12

This article will cover both week 11 and week 12. This article will also skim over the current war, which will be covered in more depth on another page. Click here to see it.

First up is Happy Okapiz and SirArcher, these two have done most things as a team during these two weeks. They have built up the Packatown Sanctum, the new fortress that houses riches, important relics, and contraband items. Both have been working on bases, while SirArcher just pays Happy to dig stone so he doesn't has to.
Disco and Icewing have been working on a project, somewhere. They have (maybe) spent their time constructing their base that will oppose Packatown, while the Packatown PD has spent a couple unsuccessful hours searching for it. While this could all be a well executed prank to make them search for hours, for something that may or may not exist.
Finally we have Xookou, and he has been on the realm, he has been fixing up some farms with the help of Happy. He also sent SirArcher to multiple deaths after offering 23 diamonds for a nether star. SirArcher got his diamonds, but lost some confidence in the process.
Week 10

This week on Mayancraft, our newest member is settling in and the flesh tunnel grows longer than ever.
First of all, our new member Icewings RULE, has made a home in the plains that are off the original map. He is living the furthest to the East currently.
Also in the plains biome Disco has built a barn nearby to Icewing's base. But Disco hasn't been seen on as much this week, but that may be because there was nobody to see him.
Meanwhile in the nether SirArcher has begun two major projects, but only finished one. The fleshy nether tunnel has grown to be 267 blocks in length. Below this is the lava lake which SirArcher has decided to cover with orange glass, the one shulker used did not get him far though.
Happy Okapiz has apeared back at the spawn without his gear and has had to rebuild, as well as fill an order of netherite that will get him over a stack of diamonds.
Last of all the shopping district has seen improvements, Xookou's shop has seen upgrades to sell more items as well as SirArcher's, because SirArcher totally needed more land.
Week 9

A new player has joined the realm for the first time since the start of Season One! Our newest member is Icewings RULE. He has settled down in the plains west of Disco's house. Hopefully we will see some more new faces now that SirArcher can tell the letter I from L on the join code.
The second important news is the announcement of the first seasonal Mayancraft Olympic Games. The games will be held around week 12. We will have a special article on the events of the games.
Week 8

While only two people have been on this week, a ton of progress has been made.
Xookou has made a return to the realm after a couple weeks and has been hard at work building a star destroyer in the void. This is the first of a fleet of the goliath space ships. If all goes to plan we will also see an entire moon be buit, oh wait, thats no moon... He has also begun turning his old base into an industrial district by adding a portal powered gold farm.
Meanwhile, SirArcher has doubled the landmasss of his shop by spreading to the shore of the mushroom island. This new shop area carries Sand, Gravel, Mystery Boxes and more. As well, he has made the foundation for a masssive castle to be built behind his base. Based on the castle from Legend of Zelda BOTW.
Week 7

Halloween has come and gone in the last week, costumes and trick or treating happened on the realm.
First up Happy Okapiz has made some diamonds from selling netherite. He has also made a mob farm and begun planning expansions to packatown.
SirArcher has created designs as well for the expansion. But has also been working on to realm's shopping district. The portal is now a giant mushroom and the roads have been put in. His base has also grown in size with a dock and a couple homes.
DiscoCreeper has been wrapping up his base designs and also digging up some iron from his mines.
Week 6

SirArcher has finally decided to organize the piles of shulkers scattered across the world. Due to this 90% of the worlds garbage has been cleaned up. Finally!

Happy Okapiz has been working on the swamp civilization with SirArcher and it is ready to move into the Medieval Era. He has also been spotted coating things and people in obsidian.

Finally we have DiscoCreeper, who has been quiet for he most part except for working on his house a bit. He has probably been underground, judging by a picture on the realm feed. He has been hunting phantoms, which is weird for everyone who hasn't seen nighttime in weeks.
A Slow Week, and a Pile of Cash

This hasn't been the most exiting week, but we have a couple things going on.
SirArcher has worked a little on the tunnel of flesh (Nether Wart) that will be the main highway through the nether. Due to the living nature of the tunnel, it is advised to avoid digestion.
Meanwhile Happy Okapiz has been working on a bit of terraforming around some of the flat areas of the world. Most of his and SirArcher's progress this week has been designs for the future.
Finally we have the winner of Demise! DiscoCreeper has won by a ghast getting Okapiz and a creeper ending the game by blasting SirArcher into oblivion.
Demise
Monday Oct 12 2020
In this last week, Demise has begun! Last player alive wins a pretty good pile of diamonds! Other than that it has been fairly quiet.
Xookou passed away in the first hour of the game to a llama accident while trying to survive a 40 block drop. Nobody knows if there are traps being made by the recently deceased, but the living should watch out.
The second to take the leap is SirArcher, while not passing away due to a placing a bed midair. SirArcher hasn't been on a lot this week, but his bone farm has been active constantly. Preparing for the nether tunnel makeover.
Out in the ocean we have another living soul. Happy Okapiz has been working away on his base, as well as staying alive to win some diamonds.
The final player is making the most progress. Working on his rustic home in the taiga, DiscoCreeper has been making a nice area out of the vacant land.

It is week two of the season and things are changing rapidly. The least change has happened in the nether, where nothing has changed since day 2. Still as deadly as ever.
Meanwhile, Happy Okapiz is constructing his rustic home on the Northmost island. The interior is done and it looks like he has turned his attention to the paths and exterior decor.
Down South of the island is SirArcher, while probably having the least visible base progress of the week, the one new house and storage system put in by Xookou are helping it feel more like home.
On the other side of the world we have DiscoCreeper. This is probably the area that has changed the most. The mining operation has got a fresh interior as a gift from SirArcher. But that's not all, because the campsite and the area around the mine have gotten an upgrade. Now with tents and a crane, this area is looking great.
Finally we have Xookou. He went with SirArcher and Happy Okapiz to slay the Ender Dragon. While SirArcher was little help due to tech difficulties, Xookou and Happy Okapiz prevailed and opened the door to the End Islands. Now equiped with elytra, Xookou is working on a mob grinder, presumably to get some gunpowder.
Punching Trees Again

Last Saturday the second season of Mayancraft began. We are already seeing the beginnings of some amazing locations.
In the nether, the passageways are looking like just bridges for now, and not safe bridges either. The bridges are 1 block wide and made of netherack. This system will no-doubt lead to more freedom in passage construction.
Somewhere in the West side of the ocean, Happy Okapiz has begun construction on his rustic cabin. He has great plans for the island. While these plans may not be on the largest scale, they will be very intricate and impressive.
To the South of Happy Okapiz, SirArcher777 is living along the frozen coast of the tundra. Currently it is just a trio of humble viking homes and a couple watchtowers. Archer is also suspected to be responsible for the two missing villagers from the central village.
In the Southeast corner of the map, It'sDiscoCreeper is building up a small base. Starting with a nether portal and path, both nicely detailed.
In the opposite corner we have Xookou. The first to the nether, Xookou has been setting up camp in a savanna. Xookou has no food troubles because of the amount of land and the lack of snow lets mobs spawn freely.
A New Season!
Week of Sep. 21-27
A brand new world will be up on the realm on the 26th. This seed has a large ocean and various biomes around it. The spawn is right next to the Mushroom Island Shopping District.
The land will now cost 3 Diamonds for 100 square blocks (10x10 or 5x20 etc.) This is to make the diamond easier to stack. These diamonds will go towards people who loose diamond gear in lava to help them out, like insurance.
So far, people have claimed some land across the world for base building. Currently SirArcher777 is in the Tundra near the coast. Happy Okapiz is on the two islands next to the sunken island. Finally, Xookou is in the West Savanna.
Get ready to set sail because there is plenty of ocean!
